Setting Up Your Printer

Poor print jobs mean your items will not scan. Failure to properly print your tags will result in a loss of your commission.  It is time-consuming and laborious to key in the barcode numerical codes.

Please remember the following items when printing your tags:

  • Laser printers work best.

  • Put your printer on the “draft” setting. Too much ink will cause your tags to smear.

  • If barcodes print too lightly on the “draft” setting, use a regular setting.

  • When printing your tags via PDF, DO NOT check the box for “Fit to Page”. Tags must be actual size.

  • Align & clean the print heads if using an inkjet printer.

  • Be sure your cardstock paper is loaded in the printer correctly & snugly so that it doesn’t slide around. If your tag has a shadow behind the text, you will need to reprint.

  • Print in groups of 8 because there are 8 tags per page.
